This delicious dish tastes just like your favorite pasta dish except low in calories and with so many health benefits! What is the low calorie secret? It's Zucchini! Zucchini is well known to reduce weight, yet boosts the nutrient value of your diet. It helps to promote eye health and is high in vitamin C, carbohydrates, protein and fiber!
Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 30- 35 minutes
1 teaspoon of Olive Oil
3/4 table spoon of your favorite seasoning (We used Complete Seasoning)
Turn on oven at 375° so that it begins to heat
Rinse both of your zucchini in sink with water to prepare for baking
Cut off both ends on each piece of zucchini
Wrap oven-safe tray with aluminum foil
Place zucchini in spiralizer and begin to spiral zucchini, repeat with the second one
Place zucchini on aluminum wrapped tray
Drizzle the 1 teaspoon of olive oil evenly all over your spiraled zucchini
Mix olive oil through zucchini to thoroughly and evenly coat every noodle
Take your 3/4 tablespoon of your favorite seasonings and sprinkle that all over the zucchini evenly once again
Be sure that all of the olive oil and seasonings are evenly distributed and are all over zucchini by doing one final mixing with your hands
When the oven is pre-heated at 375°, place tray of zucchini onto the middle rack.
Bake at 375° for 25 minutes, mixing zucchini with a fork every 10 minutes until finished.
Taste test a strand of your zucchini pasta to ensure that it is soft enough to your liking
When Zucchini is completely cooked, remove and let cool!
Each zucchini is about 30 calories each, since you dont use the entire zucchini it's a little less than 30 calories.
1 teaspoon of olive oil is 40 calories for a total of about 100 calories!
